Looking Through My Eyes

Open up your eyes and you will see That the best things in life are free Rabbits that play in the velvet grass The bird that in the sky flies past The stars that twinkle in the sky Those big black swans that pass me by The sun that shines so high above All radiate creators love So much beauty that brings me joy A friendly smile from an infant boy Or from a gorgeous little girl Even the sight of a gem or pearl I could not live without all this So much in life fills me with bliss

Hi Vera it is for me a masterpiece of writing. you have talked about the gift of God which we normally don't care becuase they are free......thanks for reminding me these great gifts....thanks....HUGs Love this poem , it is my favourite and it is a universal truth

Andrea my friend thank you so much for visiting my page and reading my little poem, as I have said many times life is to short not to enjoy anything and everything, so we make the most of it, at the moment we are listening to meditation music with pictures on TV and it is so relaxing and really makes life worth living, take care........Vera

Yes Paul that was my fav.line as well, that is one thing that Peter and I have in common life and nature, it is what keeps us going, we will have a nice weekend, Peter is taking me out to tea tonight so that will even make it better and I do hope you also have a nice weekend and take care..........Vera
