here's what to do
i tell you

Life Is Playing Ball

or mabe scorn
so you need a voice
to make a choice

make the call
when your back against the wall

LIFES IS PLAYING BALL

Breakdown

Back against the wall
her knee's pulled tightlly to her chest
holding them tightly she burries her head
ask herself why
tears roll down her face.
no kneeles to comfort her
no one knows

Supported By Your Toes

M-orn twenty-sixth January
A-ims to warm your birthday;
E-arly Thursday comes, as the shadows fade away.

R-emain strong with back against the wall,
O-utsmarting the woes and foes;
S-tanding on left foot
I-s supported by your
T-oes.

Guard On Duty

he stood far back against the wall,

               nobody noticed him at all,

             there, mute and motionless,

                  but there nevertheless,

listening close to a quiet call,

stiff like furniture in the hall.

The Other

From corners to long orders
Lines like miles,
Haters got nukes
But I'm robin hood,
shooting arrows back
My back against the wall,
Rainy weather and no roof top
So my foot on water,

Droplets be small-But small water
filling up the bucket,
Floods to wild hunts:
Freedom of the fishes
And birds eat!
Form: Imagism

Naked

Only you
Only me
All bared out
Nervous
And shaking
Mouth is a drought
Between a rock
And a hard place
Back against the wall
Not covered
Not clothed
We see it all
The distance
The thin line
It's not there
Your secrets
My secrets
It's time to share
No um's
No but's
Right here's the proof
No lies
To hide behind
Only the naked truth

Unfinished

Press your back against the wall
You are lost, you are gone
You're out of solutions
Out of excuses
You are a coward
But not for long

You act out of fear
You do the bravest thing you've ever done
You do something you will regret in the end
But you do something
Don't forget, you've done something
That's the important part

2018

a young woman stands in a corner
her back against the wall
who is there to hear her shout
to listen to her pleas
its a mans world

she screams
who will listen
alone in the darkness
her thoughts are her march
forward not upward

she cries
who is there to watch
who will hear her
alone

someday you will listen
someday you will watch
someday

Dont Judge Me

if you are going to judge me
judge me for the now
not the past
and if youre going to cause a fight
make sure you can last
because I dont stop for love
because god above
knows its not enough
because times are rough
and im going to be me
and if you can't see
past my mistakes
then you have no right to take my dignity
because i still stand tall
even with my back against the wall

Locked,Blocked,Cocked

my back against the wall
and my mind set
i'll look back
for the last time
and go where
the wind blow me

i'm continued in life
like sequels in movies
my menu
is priced
from what i been threw

the odds
even
my place in this world
i was locked down in my
heart and mind
now release
i'm reaping all the
success i can find

what a relieve
to be the cheif
of my own
life line

Keep Your Back Against the Wall

M-onday March thirteenth
A-ims to warm your heart;
R-ise of the sun shows up,
G-ray haze and mist depart.
I-t's a beautiful morn, making the fog fade away;
E-vening shadows disappear, dusk yields to the new day.

B-eacon begins to rise
A-bove the wide horizon;
L-et the twilight end,
B-ecoming a break of dawn.
O-pen your heart to trials, rise everytime you fall;
N-ever ever give up, keep your back against the wall.

With your nerves stretched paper thin,
you tend to lose control.
When you are down- -no chance to win,
and feel need to sell your soul.

Finding your back against the wall;
no dreams, no tricks of fate.
No harvest waits to gather in the fall.
A butterfly morning breaks.

I’ll not blame the poor days on fate,
nor give up on life too soon.
While butterflies flit I linger late
on a wildflower afternoon.

Death

Walking through the darkness back against the wall.
With a will that can not be kill I am in it for the long haul.
Refuse to fall even though my legs are gone.
Heart dead cold the new and in improve spawn.
I am just living my life by this sword.
Now I am walking this path hoping that my soul will be restored.
No matter what death is with us all.
But before I am going to break through this wall.
Because I am the chosen knight.

Time

A black shroud over her face
Light exempt from her features
Her back against the wall
She cries
The clock ticks

A spot of hope
The light is shining
She talks
Who listens
Sciolism in a mans world
The clock ticks

She screams
Ignorance is a better food
The soul rots
It is all black
The clock chimes

Survivor
The light flickers
The clock chimes

A room full of faces
They look
They listen
A white rose
The clock rings

Back Against the Wall

L-et sixteenth December
E-rase the Thursday night;
O-pening the early morn,
N-ever mind the twilight.
I-t's a lovely Friday,
D-on't ignore the beacon;
A-s he begins to rise, shining on your horizon.

M-orning sun in the sky
O-bliterates the shadow;
R-apture and mirth he brings
A-re far away from sorrow.
D-on't let your eyes cry, when the heavy raindrops fall;
A-llow your heart to be brave, with your back against the wall.

Listen to poem:
a figment of my imagination
trapped in a cage of my own making

forging a path
through the cobwebs of my mind

drowning in the clutter of neglect
impaled by the bitterness of the unknown

I will not give in
I will not budge

the cost may be high
but I will not - cannot

and yet, things are not as bad as they might seem
I will somehow get through this

Just a Boy

I feel pain

But my arrogance drives me to the end

I’m ambitious deep with in so

I guess I’m standing tall

With my back against the wall

My black flames never cease to shine

Why? Cause my poetry intertwined in my soul

My voice a black hole

Pulling knowledge from mistakes

No debate I am great

But I’m just a boy waiting to be a man

The hour glass turn

My crown I’m ready to earn

But first I have to learn in order to have a turn

Much Love
Black Flame
