I let you down
in the worst way
i was the only one there
but i did conceived you
under matrimonial promises
assurances that never came
rendering no considerable light
liability is no comfort when
no one takes responsibility
for the little life that needs
love
NOW IS THE TIME
TO RESOLVE ALL RESOLUTIONS,
TO ENSURE ALL ASSURANCES,
TO BECOME ALL ONE IS TO BECOME,
TO BELIEVE THE UNBELIEVABLE,

JOIN THE WORLD

Winter nights.
Soft lights.
The fog floating around reminiscing of the ghosts of your past.
Two souls, bared in silence.
Whispers of doubt and assurances of love,
Touching your skin with cold hands feels like sin.
But the pools of brown look like altars.
Where I worship you and continue to sin for my mortal body.
Embracing your good old days
And learning from your every play
Loving your flaws
All in all
Standing tall
Never falling
And having heart of
Proudness all over
Speaking your truths
Their truths
Talking your assurances
Never forsaking
Only embracing
The declarations of others
Tis' all makes you
Being Righteous
Ancestral
These assurances
These well-intended
Platitudes of wisdom borne of
The lightest light they ever knew.
I resist
I cringe
I worship
I respect
I do not judge
I cannot always appreciate
I respect
I ruminate
I live and breathe and yearn
I stretch and dance and sigh and sigh again
To make the haunt
Less daunting
If I show you love in actions
Give of you those things you need
If in showing love in action wanting nothing in return
In deed
NO payment in kind
No physical demands
Just honest, agape love

No repercussions

I rot in this prison yet I am free...

No, I tell you, Elon Musk, I will not
Go to Mars, it is dry, and has pink nights
and wind-blown days
Settlers will live in caves without
dogs and cats to make life on Mars
livable without caresses
No, Musk, I refuse to go unless your
assurances the cave living will be
temporary and live will last forever
I have found a planet that is lefty
Where right is left and left is right
with a teddy bear for every child
