Assumption - Two Timers

Thought I had it made, love spilled out from all of me!
Thought I had if made, then I remembered, you were not free!

Bandit the Cat

To everyone I'm your laid back muffin
company over I'm that assumption
but I confess
their keys I hide best
you didn't name me Bandit for nothing!

I accept my life.
	In the here and now
and the by and bye.

I am not
	“Your assumption”

The value you give it,
is the attachment that
holds you to it…

Inner Pride

Once upon a serene moony night
A lady glowing with inner pride
She clung to a strong assumption
She had to conceal her infatuation
While asleep she dreamt of her Knight.

Trump With Gumption

Trump With Gumption

What appeared to be an assumption,
Gathered speed and is an presumption;
All consequences,
In  wrong tenses;
Send Trump to hell with much gumption.

Fate

When I fell in love with you
I never knew I was making a very wrong assumption of you
Only if I had known I was making a very grievous mistake
I would not have fallen so deep till this late

Assumption With Much Gumption

Assumption With Much Gumption

What I already made was an assumption;
When I had gathered up much gumption;
My mind expanded,
And I safely landed;
More of my poems increased consumption.

Broken Mirrors

It’s easy to criticize…
harder to know

The poison unleashing,
reflections aglow

Assumption to breed
where temerity hides

The lie in sheep’s clothing
—truth buried inside

Much better to be the arrester than the arrestee Prison comes to mind, arresters never need to plead Free to go home for dinner You see they're not the sinner That's the assumption, a real upstanding breed

t is never good when
one points a finger to
draft an assumption,
outline a judgment,
then draw and create
sketchy conclusions.
It is much wiser to
use a pencil,
for when you make a
mistake,
it can always be erased.

Questions and Answers - Quinzaine Contest

Sun shines on the righteous ones
That is a known fact?
Assumption?

An apple a day is good
Good for what I ask?
For your teeth?

Spring brings forth lovely flowers
Hay fever disguised?
In beauty?

Beauty

(Dedicated to Judith Sheindlin)

Beauty, often, wrongly makes Assumption
That Morality, Kindness to Others, Smartness
Is not for its Gorgeous Ilk
And everything exists - just for her asking;
But Beauty fades and Dumbness is forever.

"A must read.."

So often appearing

This prescription..

This assumption that

Searching is the same

What I have read

Is a cloud lifter

And will be for you..

Futility unleashed

This story of ever

Expanding beliefs of

Separation...

Mother
As ancient time is not anxious
Of humanities youthful squabbling
You permitted my discourse
Allowing for the conclusion
(Mothers are wonderful in that way)
all the while operating
under the assumption
that serpents molt and
trees shed leaves to grow

A Helping Hand

For many years now,
alongside me,
a presence
has accompanied.

It is that helping hand,
that saved me,
from your wrong opinions,
your self-delusions,
and the lies you tell yourself.

Latterly,
it has been attending my own
mistaken assumption,
and foolish humbug.

Premium Member Veiling

Veiling

We live our lives
Each day with assumptions
That the "out there"
Reveals what we need to know..
This is the assumption of centuries..
It comes as a surprise
When we are told that
"Out there" actually veils the
Reality which when recognized
Will bring us Peace...
