Pleasures of Reading
It pleasures me
That she reads me
Inside her serenity
Parked on our bench of antiquities
I, whom gazes over there at her,
Later in the dusk of candlelight
Shall remove her pink dress
Tiss then
I shall see she derives her pleasures
As I read her...

I do not know?
Antiquities On the Brink
the antiquitous souls.
" perhaps uninvitable?"
mellowing amberred coals
[portioned minds] ,

From the Past
Disuniting each golden silken strand
from an antique tapestry,
then gently setting them aside
An ole' brush is lifted from a bureau,
consumed by silver strands of pilus.

satin splendor,
like a laciniate leaf from
slivers of antiquities.
Priceless treasures

A Pondering Poet
A pondering poet
A dreamer at ease
Looking through facets of life
Searching each inkling
Wandering on
Sketching and painting
A doorway beyond
A loving innuendo
Twinning
A simple song
I walk the road of antiquities
Looking back and looking on
Roaming the streets of possibilities
To twine a simple song
A pondering poet
A dreamer at ease
Looking through facet of life
Searching each inkling
Wandering on
Divine
Majestic
Refined
And
Simplistic...

Times Change
Dusty little towns
West of the Great Divide
Where great-grandchildren of cowboys
On ranches still reside.
Small western museums
With local antiquities inside;
Native American artifacts,
Some horse tack for a cowboy's ride.
There among the fancy
Are two dresses hemmed above the knee,
20's Jazz Age fashion
Worn far from the speak-easys.
Caused a bit of an uproar,
As they danced on the sawdust floor.
Who were these rebel cowgirls,
These flappers from western lore....
