It is not just a game
you don't play it for fun
it consumes all even your name
but don't be fooled this is no pun.
you sit there shooting
they try and shoot back
you continue your alluding
they die and then hit the sack.
you sit there in contempt
talking trash to all that was matched
thinking your that time was well spent
then all you see is yourself unattached.
My cheeks pressed against
my window while the rain drops
Streamed down the glass, down my face
Alluding to tears,
Staring across at your house,
Lights out, cars gone, vacant.
The oak tree scratching
At your old bedroom window,
Muddy,bare, lifeless garden,

Tell me a truth.
I'll tell you a lie.
I will not oblige to tell you the reason!
Why?
Deception is the greatest truth.
Deception is simplicity.

seemingly beautiful.
Close to perfection.
To the unobservant eye.
Appearing to connect,
In a sympathetic nature.
Embodying an illusion.
Alluding to the truth...
Avoiding depth.

Full Metal
The sky is bad outside,
and there's no place to run,
or hide myself inside.
I stand firm, unfearful,
a steady sword in hand,
poorly matched against foes.
No tear shall run my cheek.
No stay of mercy call
I, nor God's Justice seek.
For I am full alive,
one fist against a storm,
and I am not afraid.
Are we there yet?
Dark isn't; yet the night..!
Black though; desires are.."
