Curling through the air,
Hopping along at mach speed,
Roving down your youth,
Icarus-like, a collision into stockings,
Smacking lips under mistletoe,
Teeming with joy.
Make believe one more time.
Alleluia, and all that stuff.
Santa and Christ are peering, befuddled and amused.
Lustily craving to reach the top of the tower,
salivating to grab a country's political power,
to hell with lack of experience or substance,
his empty rhetoric putting people in a trance;
Alleluia! a new messiah has arrived to lead,
almost at the zenith to mess up your head!
