with a dose of dysentery....

Burden
Failing of sins afflict the soul within.
Jesus carries the life of the law in you.
Be the wailing of sorrows in prayer.
For Jesus sees them there....

Who
Who are you?
What do you have to do with me?
Answer me!
Cause I can’t stop chattering my teeth
And I can’t stop throwing fits
Who the hell are you?
You follow me
It’s like you’re hunting me
You strangle me
As you live with me
Do you like to afflict me?
You kill me
Stop scaring me!
Who are you?
Stranger.
Friend.
Leave me be!
Stay with me!...

The Chapter Ends
A hollow feeling resonates
alas the chapter ends
What were the lessons that I learned?
How do I make amends?

afflict with heavy hand
A penance now I must embrace
my heart and mind demand......

Prediction
Today, tomorrow seems quick.
All moving faster, so thick,
A new change I do predict.
End times, not afflict.

Future I predict today.
Not end of days, I do say.
Too all hopefuls on this way,
For this they do pray.

I predict a new race found.
They have always been around.
Spreading outward like a sound.
We rejoice or bound.

Premium Member Plagued by Memories
Cursed I am plagued by things of the now: daily physical aggravations for which doctors have given me no cure. Memories can’t afflict me the way my body has been bedeviled by ailments which do not even have a name. I suppose I can say the memory of a physician having injected me four times with a substance that gives some people dire side effects haunts me to this day. Cursed is this world by doctors who are meant to do no harm.
