Self Love

In the deepest hollow of my soul,
self love waits.
To be discovered, to be affirmed, to be embraced.
I wait for the journey to begin.
Will my consciousness accept,
this love that begs to be released?
I've grown impatient,
I do so want that love,
to fill my empty heart.

Understanding Why

Some things unsaid by
bamboos quiet in a pose of repose;
there are shivers in the
chords of leaves
unseen by glances from
eyes unread.
And still,
they close and bow,
things must have been
said from the depth of
a heart bursting not with words
but of silence understood
and affirmed.

Time Passes 2

There are no last smiles,
only raging fury...
Upon the fracture of finality
lies a commitment
Mine to resist
for you to insist

This goodbye instated
is mine
By the instance of your
passionate silence
Affirmed by none
The tensions of our
respective fates...
line up again unchained

This time passes,
each time it does...

Another Karen - a Reverse Poem

My black son
He did not belong
Unwelcome
Unannounced and subsequently
Uninvited
To attend his predominately white Honors math class online
Confirmations abounded
With increasing befuddlement
By the substitute teacher
“Are You Sure?”
By a white classmate
Affirmed
Welcomed
Invited
Permitted to remain
After all
He did belong

Premium Member Reflections

Can we stake our life, oh dear soul
On our affirmed belief
Have we renounced each egoic goal
Giving ourself relief

Is void-centric our awareness
Nonchalant to outcomes
Presence vibrant in blissfulness
As the song divine hums

Are we yet trapped in lower mind
In bondage to desire
Have we left every fear behind
Free from earthy quagmire

Premium Member We confess

From each node of form emanates divine bliss,
being of course benediction of God’s grace,
love’s heavenly caress, Divine Mother’s kiss,
rapture sublime, holding us in close embrace.
Our formless soul plunges into the abyss,
wherein of wayward ego remains no trace,
leaving pristine presence alone as the flame,
now affirmed as claim to fame, in life’s end game.

Their Power To Steal

The charlatans bankrupted
his checking account,
but his love was not overdrawn

Each check that he wrote,
each choice that he made,
trading ingots for righting a wrong

With credit denied
and spirit affirmed,
he continued to endorse what was real

Until bankers and lawyers
destroyed with one stroke,
his wishes—their power to steal

Premium Member Healing Hands

Vibrant palms pulsate with healing power;
current of love in constancy humming,
aligning all in its blissful shower,
magnetic pulsation enlivening;
the divine energy soul uplifting.
The shift within which thus does enable,
affirmed time and again in the gospels,
being simply getting to emptiness,
core magnetised and consciousness stable,
unifying us with the That Oneness.

Premium Member In simple words

God is one indivisible being;
truth affirmed in scriptures time and again
but dark thought clouds prevents us from seeing,
so unless we break free from our mind-chain,
we will hesitate to dance in the rain.
Ego-identity does not exist
but if we think it does and so insist,
like an ostrich, our head sunk in a hole,
fear of freedom causing us to resist,
we’ll reclaim not soul’s light, sages extol.

Premium Member Im Not Normal

I’m Not Normal By: Miracle Man 2-19-2020 The normal I once knew exists no longer, So I've a new normal, and It's not stronger. When asked how I feel, I just reply normal, Some have affirmed normal is too informal. Is normal how I'm supposed to feel each day? Or is normal just a word for which I pray? Today I’m pining for my old normal days, Normal has become half, of my new catch phrase.
