Because the whole
world is watching us
of what we do,
we are the actors
of our destiny.

We all play a part,
Actors on the global stage,
Pleasing the masses,
Who demand that we forget,
Ourselves and become themselves.
Jaded love, deepened wound weeps

I am a lover of:
poetry, art, men
beauty, actors and actress's
kids, animals, and bridges
I am a lover because
I am here to love
and be loved
I feel bad for the actors left behind
Already past their prime
New actors come in
And they take the spotlight from him
Now he is all but forgotten
In cinema
Hollywood
Bollywood
Also something like Kollywood
Now the trend new is Covood
When the actors in cinema acting staying in distance!
God Complex
Known as Jack Lord,
Hawaii Five-O star status he would hoard.
Co-actors were just featured players
From whom the Lord expected prayers.
Moonlight graces our little place,
We mere actors leave the stage.
The sun stops shining,
the lights go out,
and like mice, we sleep in our world, our cage.
Remember those old Miller beer commercials
'More taste' ... 'Less filling'
The actors in those ads, now grandads
yelling ~ 'More guns ... Less killing'
Poets speak in ink,
Musicians speak with music;
Artists speak through dappled paint.
Sculptors speak in stone,
Actors speak in their actions:
While everyone else...listens.
Its all a show.
When, age to age
Through each hip change of costume
Actors engage.
Its all a sham.
When, year on year
Through its call, for lasting peace
To arm none fear.
Two politicians look at the same event
They come up with two different sets of factors
A voter may not know which one to believe
Except to know they're both consummate actors
Watching unreality tv shows
when suicide is acted
and tears of actors
remotely run down your face
Perfection and indifference met by smile
that seems to fade
a mile in the future
Rational actors, calm and cool
Emotional thespians, rough-cut jewels
Some uplift our hearts
Others appeal to our minds
Pyrotechnics sparkle and shine
We dress in desires
and we stripped of our modesty,
we are powerful now,
we are of love, the stage and actors...
we turn around
and we turned over
and we write
with our bodies,
poetry... !
Ghosts
Garbed in ghostly attires
Glistening like a star
Grimacing like an ape
Gurgling like a black owl
Gathered on public square
Gesturing like actors
Giving a fearful show.

So many in my class after those appellations went
Decades later, not one of the above from my friends
Seems that the means didn't justify the ends
Will it be the actors?
Will it be the singers?
Or will it be the dancers
Who bring the Gospel
With a twist?
Or will it be the pastors,
The apostles and the prophets,
The teachers and evangelists?
The longing, the pain
together with sadness,
are impertinent actors...
they are insolent...
They are untimely guests!
without any permission
invade our lives,
our parties,
and hijack the harmony
from us...sneakingly...!
we are actors
arguing in
plotless movies
performing within
disconnected realities
muddling through
absurd battles
hoping for
direction
striving to
make sense
of our roles
in a
cosmic
Cinema
of the
Absurd
NATURE MY VEHICLE
