Moonlight In Our Cage

Moonlight graces our little place,
We mere actors leave the stage.
The sun stops shining,
the lights go out, 
and like mice, we sleep in our world, our cage.

I didn't read this as a limerick because it has so much depth into the words. There is a darkness I feel inside your letters and it is very intriguing.
