Premium Member When The Moon Weeps

When the moon weeps, for Mother Earth's woes
Traversing the skies around the globe
Flows through cycles of space and time
Activates movement from dark to light
She holds secrets of stories untold
Her mood stirring the waters within
Hearts connect upon her somber gaze
When the moon weeps, for Mother Earth's woes

Premium Member The Uncanny Power of Complaining

	Complaining doesn’t make things better!
How many times have I heard that?

So I’m going to complain about that old saw
             ‘Cos complaining jars me awake…

…activates my libido, rouses my sleeping lion
              energizes me to resolve problems
                   that seemed overwhelming
                        mere moments ago

My Marvellous Mangesh Thakre

‘Mangesh’ means Lord Shiva
Oozing with full of cosmic aura
The dashing boy is a rock star
Full of fashion and will go afar
Vidarbha’s icon being a ‘Thakre’
Equally capable like the ‘Dhadwe’
Hails from Mahandodi – the hamlet
Just the other side of rivulet
(Rasul”s birthday activates him
Though we’re there since beginning)
Was with me and ‘dil’ on desk first
In the class of 10th in 1995 just..!
Marathi Asmita being his goal
I salute thee being an Amol..!!

Be Grateful

In a world where slavery is a mercantile trade
remember to be grateful to your legs
though they limp

I shall remember to thank my lips for the tired yawn
that activates the nerves each grey day
though they reek of charred tobacco

I shall remember to thank my lungs
for purifying my soul while walking on grass
though I pant when I miss the elevator

Membranes beyond the nose
for safe ventilation
eyelashes that gag emotions
the kneecap for play and prayer
 you're a deal
