The night is cloaked in his chamber,
Tempest rages in his closet,
He searches for a way through,
He fights and stifles,
They push back and trouble sore,
It's an unending fight,
He anticipates an end.

Exuberance bobs, bops and bounces
on a trampoline of joyous elation.
Its riff a catchy refrain
that sticks in the brain,
prods and pokes receptive minds 
into action and reaction.
Like a buoy rocking on waves,
to and fro,
up and down,
side to side,
Just can't sit still,
all aflame and glowing, 
sparking with joyous jubilation....

the curling finger,
the ignorant past,
the now where the future lingers.

I am the instrument,
the vice that grips,
the low and behold,
the foot that slips.

I am the body,
I own the mind,
I am the result, the consequence, the action and reaction,
I am the lost soul,
the spirit left behind.

I am the truth to some,
and to others the lie,
I am the death,
survived by life....

Let me be open to be startled
to let the unexpected in,
to be surprised, astonished, shocked,
wide open to action happening in peripheral view.
Let me be open to strangeness
by looking for difference and oddity
with laser cutter eyes 
slicing away the clutter
of mundane sameness.
Let me be startled by strangeness,
glad to be jostled and jangled,
disturbed and wrangled 
to action and reaction,
by being receptive 
and willingly open....

This may be annoying decadent cliche of a question,but me all I do.
Every decision big or small, each life altering crossroads crossed?
   Would these in the moment minute events and my action and reaction. 
   Be brought to question and collectively be enough to label me crazy or sane?
   Overall define if I'm crazy or sane?
Is it just me am I alone or is this a common question that hahaunts us as humans.

My final argument has to be the coda
but it has not been good for me
I cant keep fizzing like a can of soda
like a tepid tea is what I have to be

It is hard to accept that I am the captain
no matter the situation I am going through
and work harder for what is going to happen
and don't allow any jerk to make me blue

But the fact is that I have the reins
to control the horse I want to ride
and I can go farther, beyond the plains
It is about being proactive, not about pride ?...
