Accountability

Self-reflection is only half of the work. The full work is owning up and taking action. Don't abuse the power of grace you give yourself.

Benign Neglect?

In this life,
of inevitable recompense,
of inescapable accountability,
for collective responsibility,
indifference to injustice
is not an option;
an epitasis, it is,
in this metaphoric
epic drama of life

Accountability By Ulyssa Vinarta 8th Grade

Andy was driving.
Caused a
Car crash
On the highway.
Unbelievable!
Now
That
A friend has
Been killed.
It has caused chaos
Leading him
Into
Taking responsibility for his own actions,
Yet, he still blames himself.

You Were Never There

You were never there
Nothing but pure neglect
A child was born
A moment that you seem to forget
Nothing but a dark cloud
Bitterness sadly rears its ugly head
Just take accountability
And be there for the child instead

Premium Member While I Strived At Wilmington Treatment Center

I strolled with God, and
God with me, as
I shrank from booze to clarity, through
Narrow doors, and sculpted lawn, that
Buffered me with accountability -
The hands of God my confidence
No one can stand
Like wall against.

Premium Member judge on TV

female judge on TV
shows blatant honesty
inspires accountability
puts their feet to the fire
a trait I greatly admire
the obvious pointed out
sometimes making the wronged one shout
it is always enlightening
honesty not frightening

Shenanigan's

Shallow individuals
Hollow minds
Tough fronts
Do as I say, not as I do
Hearts of ice
Exponential drama
Walking thru life with blinders on
Militant policy
Lose, lose environment
Finger pointing
No accountability

Obfuscation

Too often anger wells in me
Like an unquenched dragon
Seeking answers shielded by
Wealthy or powerful pricks,
Truth shaded or obscured
By political appointees eager
To protect their benefactors.
What we really need is Truth
And accountability, punishment.

You Cant Handle the Truth

You can't handle the truth

Maybe your right i actually can't

But at least i can comprehend it

Or know what it is

Do you ?

Can you honestly say the same ?

Truth is not deniability

It's accountability

So ask yourself can you handle it ?

Before you abuse it ?

Accountability

Always
Conscious of
Considerable responsibility
Oath to none, but driven by self
Unreasonable guilt;
Never justified
Testimonial to morality
And unwavering devotion
Believing always
In taking the higher path
Living by a code
Invisible to most
Though terribly difficult on
Yourself

Premium Member It's Art

If what I am doing is called Art then this must be an attempt to recuse myself from my own mortality by leaving a record of personal accountability, spurring imaginations to judge its spirituality, dispelling my propensity for any ambiguity. Sure that's it. It's Art! 06/29/2017

Prosperity, prosperity
Prosperity to humanity
I brought to you love and solidarity
Peace and harmony

It is freedom and happiness
Love and kindness
Prosperity, prosperity
Prosperity to humanity

So why do you curse me
Instead of blessing me
It efficiency and a higher levity
Transparency and accountability

Accountability By Toi Ruiz 7th Grade

Action!
Count on yourself!
Can't take anyone else's responsibilities.
Only you can!
Understand why you should
Not make
The mistake
Andy made by driving drunk.
B.J. should have driven that night
If Andy was so drunk.
Learn from your mistakes and bad choices.
If you do not
Then the same will happen to
You!

Premium Member Accountability

Why is accountability so allusive to mankind?
I think that many of us forget, that God is not blind.

There is always an excuse, an easier path to take.
Will our deception anger God, or make his heart break?

Can’t all be forgiven, why must we show disdain?
Practice what you preach, so your work is not in vain.

Accountability

In this world of sin and shame,
It's hard to know who is to blame.

We become desensitized,
To the evil on the rise.

Those beliefs we know are wrong,
Are lived daily among the throngs.

Is there no end to hate and greed?
What will it take to follow God's lead.

If there is evil and I give it no name,
Than it is I who is to blame.

Fables

What are our millennium fables?
Women keep giving each other labels,
No harmony for our ecology,
An alliance should be our synergy,
No accountability for the economy,
No wise leaders to steer us to unity,
Century's getting older, folks!
Any teamwork to cast off these yokes?
Symbiosis should aim at harmony,
Let's pray for millennium synergy!

In today’s clamor for genuine public servants who are not just politically glamorous, the need for sincere servant leaders is reverberating with fervent prayer. This calls for officials who work with integrity, honesty, transparency and accountability while exemplifying to the next generation their functional transformative slogan, “Let’s achieve more together.”

(The world’s fasted growth industry)

“While the shopkeeper
displays his wares,
for the whole world
to peruse!”

In infamous sway
behind the ostentation
lives the truth of his
draconian sweat!
The attestation of
wholesale systems
groveling in strategic
mayhem, created to
delegate accountability
to the lowest common
denominator!

PASSING THE TORCH

Come to light another torch
Why? Because the truth is in the hands of the masters in every prize
Come to light another torch
Why? Because the truth requires perfect accountability for one’s own perceptions and lies

I light the torch
Sharing love, wisdom, expertise
An inspiration of my mission
to the Life’s magnificence

Look Out

Look out, beware!
Watch it, take care!
Don't enter that church, dumb bitches,
You'll end up right little bitches,
Depends if you get a dud,
Don't accept such crud,
It's not your accountability,
For so called men's inadequacies,
Make it his problem, not yours,
Weddings can lead to divorce,
So don't go in that church, dumb bitches!
You'll end up right little witches!

The George Chronicles: Reason

No lie
The depths of darkness invite with such warmth
Fake smile
Everyone has one
A heart
As cold as ice
Your word
Accountability
Failure
Happens more often
Love
Love has categories
Life
Some choose to keep, others ..destroy
Hope

Excuses
Everyone's got one
Positivity
When negativity already consumed thy soul
Creativity
Begins with an idea..a reason

As Flowers Need Watering, Affections Need Nurturing

Love needs communicating. Communicating takes time. Time needs prioritizing. Prioritizing takes reflection. Reflection takes desire. Desire needs discipline. Discipline takes commitment. Commitment needs accountability. Accountability takes openness. Openness needs understanding. Understanding takes someone. Someone needs reminding. Reminding takes love.

Honesty

I've been crying too long
It feels like my eyes are bleeding
You claim I'm the only one who is wrong
I guess accountability is what you're conceding

I was never perfect
But I tried my best
Your feelings faded
And you know the rest

I've been going through too much
I haven't had time in a while
Not even for good times and such
I can't remember the last time I really smiled

You Win

You can blame me
But it’s not hard to see
The choices you choose to take
The decisions you’re willing to make
The connection you say isn’t deep
The little girl you never seek
She doesn’t know you
But you don’t want her to
Another man has stepped up to the plate
You say you’re being replaced
You never take accountability
You lack in reliability
You can blame me
But it’s not hard to see
