Shaytan Poems

Her Divineness

Thankful for my creator I praise Her nobody's greater,
The hidden denominator a mystical commentator,
I'm wishing to find Her later I'm traveling slowly but surely,
Learning lessons I'm purely a child of God She assured me,
She'll save me from hell's fury Her mercy always prevails,
Vicegerence man's duty I honor people as well,
While hoping to get my blessings I'm washing my inner essence,
Cleanse it til I'm perfected Im serving Divine Perfection,
The Maker of all of this Allah is all It is,
Shaytan will always tempt me but God absolves my fears,
With faith in Her commission I'm trying to be more consistent,
Being still as I listen for inspiration and wisdom,
Cause idol worship's forbidden I'm changing my way of living,
To God my praise given a slave that stay sinning,
But working to earn forgiveness everyday I'm repenting,
Must admit I be slipping but that don't stop my conviction,
All the Prophets exhibit instructions for our upliftment,
Peace to them for existing thanking the All Existing.

How the Dawn Calls

Voices terrify ears
Dreams are soon disturbed/
(1)From an old man whose voice
Deprive "the Adhan" its rights
(2)to a youthful voice - not from my land perhaps
Vibrant / Enough to woo an angel / Enough for Death to stay a murder event /
Even at when
"Shaytan" kisses my eyelids for more cursed sleep
Serenity / Peace / warmness I produce every dawn
from the voices that beat & ride the air in freedom /
From a grateful soul
Unlike days when the "Adhan" was chained to fear death - war
Thanks to the Rosul / Peace unto him / his companions / as long as man calls to prayer.

Dunderheads

Dunderheads were led into thunder domes. Cats were heaved, therefore rats increased, in incense-sweetened sanctuaries.

Love comes limp.

With our clap-stomp frolic, we shall cure alcoholics, then boost the sensations with wine.
For the next six days, libations appraised at the ABC suit me just fine.

Doubt is a virtue. Shaytan never hurts you. He gives what our tongues cry for. Politely I pass on the communion glass. I was drunk when I came through the door.

I said it before.

He don't look much like me, so he ain't my god's son, yet still, to his feet I run. Though it's mineral rain, that cleans my bloodstains, and my crops are still fed by the sun.

Pardon the pun.

When I point out the finite power of the painting before the pews, I'm treated as someone crass, as you wink at another man's wife in the church, 'cause last night, she done gave you some

Ii- My Admonition - To Some Sunnih Brethren

You've made the public tag Islam, a religion of fanatics
Just because of your attitudes, people see sunnis as extremists
Why making it difficult for others to abide by Islamic ethics?

Brother,
The fact that you use those short length trousers
shouldn't make you ignore and disrespect others
Be real and relate with good characters,
may be through these, they will surely ponder.

Sister,
The length of your beautiful hijaab
doesn't rate you with the highest eeman,
seek more knowledge to ascertain the lessons behind using that pretty khimaar.

Soft words with hikmah are enough to correct your sisters
Teach them the ethics of a good zawjah and as well a righteous believer
For you help to rehabiltate ummah and avoid shaytan the deceiver.

Muzlims that pretends to be Muslims are no doubt, being atypical.
Be a Muslim and a Mu'min by not being hypocritical
For Allah rewards every deed, but its sometimes metaphysical.
