Sensitize Poems

Adoration Called For

For it speaks true, to sensitize
through taste and touch, nose, ears and eyes
By nature, some will genuflect,
a flower's fragrance to respect,
detect unseen need to admire
gifts freely given by the Sire.
Fires up arms to pick within reach
all goodness plants, uncalled for, teach.
Breach dug in doubt - fear engineers
imperfect thoughts, brave minds adhere,
revere the truth, all that's divine -
Adore Creator's grand designs,
Aligne with hope to all He swore,
implore the One called to adore.

Premium MemberWinter's Snowflakes

Snowflakes, softly falling down,
Delicate as feathers,
Whispering hope all around,
Reflections so very clever.

Winter has come to visit us,
Bringing frosty weather,
Never making such a fuss,
As when the snowflakes gather!

Snowflakes, gentling the air,
Crisp and cool, not bitter,
Singing to the birds so blue,
Glistening like bubbly glitter.

Winter has arrived on the hills,
Silencing the stars with cold.
Nothing feels quite so amazing,
As the glorious snow we behold!

Snowflakes, stirring the wonders,
Blessings fading in the shadows,
Cascading beyond the flashing lights,
Glowing across the calm meadows.

Winter has appeared to spread its awe,
Risking time’s melting sunrise,
Awakening mellow dreams, so kind,
Painting angels on snow, such a surprise!

Snowflakes, blanketing the land with joy,
Promising hope, though unspoken,
Quieting the darkness, healing all strife,
Restoring every heart that’s been broken.

Winter has emerged on our lives,
Destroying fear and making men wise,
Kindling flames of faith and love,
Softening hearts only God can sensitize!

Dream Big

Why not the dreams of castled kings
With rubied thrones and emerald rings
If treasures of a certain greed
                    Would satisfy your aching need

Or corporations far and wide
With CEO’s all by your side
What you could do would still amaze
If power sets your heart ablaze

Perhaps, a superficial win
The velvet touch of supple skin
To sensitize a brush of whim
                     Against an eager, waiting limb

Dream big or why to dream at all
Your dreams could still then be too small
Yet, think before a granted plea
Before a Genie’s one, two, three

Why not the dreams of one who’s poor
Whose vision would be to assure
That hunger in our world would end
With just these very words, I’ve penned

But dreams are dreams and truth is truth
And though there really is no proof
I still believe they can come true
As surely as the sky is blue

Think Safety; Work Safely

Don't trust much on your skill
It may breath dreadful chill
Take care of your grace
To avoid been efface
Keep your balance to the drill

Electric is my friend
To you let me pretend
It has never shocked me
Cos I do get my breathes flee
Still I do contend

A mistake so dangerous to life
Is peeling live wire with knife
That could be for bet
What profit is it to get?
If hell becomes the afterlife.

Once on an electric pole
Seeing myself in control
Our community's electric light comes at a turn
And that's never a concern
This gives more courage to my soul

I climbed the ladder confidently
My decent hands' grabs move evidently
As I connect the neutral well tighten
UP NEPA got my mind frighten
And my soul's confidence looses accidently

If it were to be the first time
Lack of experience would have been a crime
But such have learnt from in the past
And by grace gain a vast
To learn to mime

The first one resulted to a fall
From a ladder so tall
Thankful to my boss
His laughs sensitize the chaos
And his guise pathos awaken my call

Diary of a Teacher of Language

Knowing not from what to start
the ache roaming into my heart just a part.

A vocation going beyond the call of duty
teaching in corona time EFL tutee.

Leave everything behind and head to school
be prudent.. teach, do your best and be cool.

Measures are being taken, no panic
just wear your mask and be dynamic.

Meet your pupils, they are now in groups
we only couldn’t afford sanitizer gel! oops!

Make sure on the virus your pupils sensitize
and the health protocols make them memorize.

As there are no coughs, no sneezes.. you're not at risk
just instill positive vibes and feel quite brisk.

Remember you have a previous term to consider
work hard and have your pupils quick on the trigger.

Now learning to maintain a safe environment
hygiene supplies is your only requirement.

From designing a lesson plan to a disinfection one
by the end of the school year, I'm afraid, I’ll be done!
