Snowflakes, softly falling down,
Delicate as feathers,
Whispering hope all around,
Reflections so very clever.
Winter has come to visit us,
Bringing frosty weather,
Never making such a fuss,
As when the snowflakes gather!
Snowflakes, gentling the air,
Crisp and cool, not bitter,
Singing to the birds so blue,
Glistening like bubbly glitter.
Winter has arrived on the hills,
Silencing the stars with cold.
Nothing feels quite so amazing,
As the glorious snow we behold!
Snowflakes, stirring the wonders,
Blessings fading in the shadows,
Cascading beyond the flashing lights,
Glowing across the calm meadows.
Winter has appeared to spread its awe,
Risking time’s melting sunrise,
Awakening mellow dreams, so kind,
Painting angels on snow, such a surprise!
Snowflakes, blanketing the land with joy,
Promising hope, though unspoken,
Quieting the darkness, healing all strife,
Restoring every heart that’s been broken.
Winter has emerged on our lives,
Destroying fear and making men wise,
Kindling flames of faith and love,
Softening hearts only God can sensitize!
