Fantasy Fairytale

Dragon Sire take me higher to the kingdom we desire,
all alone on a throne awaiting your true love’s fire.
These violet wings that I wear make me a Princess Sprite so rare,
I stand before you pale and bare as you show you truly care.

Your scaly skin like a fish’s fin shows might hidden within,
let’s now begin and let friendship win; live a life free of sin.
We are of sound mind, heart and soul combined,
as our essences are intertwined and made kind.

Stardust our ivory unicorn has given us a land to adorn,
no rose’s thorn nor thought forlorn can create magic torn.
She’s an equestrian beauty with a sacred duty,
to gather the agouti and make sure our garden is fruity.

The heartfelt gnomes who help build our homes
are the greenskeepers for the beautiful catacombs.
But these lil’ nurserymen of cultivation live life in isolation,
under the deep plantation lives their secret congregation.

Years ago we swore a vow that anyway and anyhow
we’d allow a life somewhere else; that time is now.
I must confess as I digress, we’ve lived a life so very blessed,
but now it’s time to put true love to the test.

“My sweet Dragon Sire, stay with me,
embrace all things of marvel in our destiny.
We’ve earned this prize in our loving eyes,
I’ve given no lies, you’ve unveiled my disguise.
The Winter breeze shall eventually cease,
and Spring shall arrive in heavenly ease.
Now let’s take flight beyond the speed of light,
let go of fright and hang on tight.
For we shall prevail with wings and a tail,
set sail through the air on a fantasy fairytale.”
