      Contemplation

      Hidden scruple of consciousness scuffling
yet to be scudded through assigned locus,
       focusing on clarification surpassing confusion.
Mystic mind mesmerised on translucent thoughts,
suffused by morose mist needs transparency.

Confused contour of path of life congested in chaotic commotion
demanding luminosity of serene sublime soul
waiting for brightly shining sparkling stars to illumine.
When Angelic Aura will glow behind placid maroon Moon,
encumbered heart may turn ebullient, exuberant soon.

Conscience if circumvented by illusion, clairvoyance
of cosmic profoundness to exhibit ecstatic effulgence.
Radiance of contemplation will illumine discombobulated musings
welcoming freshness of dawn dew glistening on bliss of realisation.
blessed by my ecstatic ethereal enlightenment.

Forgetting Words

FORGETTING WORDS

Getting older brings forgetting,
One by one,
My long-known friendly words,
Amassed and loved since childhood.

Against my will, words fly out of my mind’s window.
Trying to recapture them leads only to
Headache and frustration -
They will not be forced back.

But once given up on,
Like escaped birds or love lost,
They will come again.
Delightfully welcome,

Having frolicked for an hour or a week
With the naughty clouds, and scudded
Across the pale-washed sky.
The steady gaze of mother moon
Dipping west in a peaceful swoon,
Returns my errant pals.

Eggyolk Moon

.

Across the face
of an egg-yolk
full moon

scudded a bouquet
of clouds gone
too soon.

Answer a question
to a night-gazer
it behooved:

Was it the moon, the
clouds or the sky
that moved?

Upon the Waters' Moon

The clouds scudded across
A windswept sky
It was deepest night
As I watched magic pass by

The moon had risen
There it hung in soft silver
Scattering beams of light
Upon the waters, bright

Its' pale reflection on water
As I watched magic pass by
If I could catch the moonlight
I would cast it upon midnight waters
Beneath a windswept sky

Upon the waters' moon
I saw beams of light
I could not tell if it was
Starlight or moonlight
All I saw was the faintest ripple
Upon the waters' moon
In deepest night

Night-Gazer

Across the face
      of a sunflower
           full moon

scudded a bouquet
      of clouds,
           gone too soon,

a night-gazer, to answer
      a question,
           it behooved:

was it the moon, the clouds
      or the sky
           that moved?

Heart of a Storm

Thunder tore apart the air...
Shards of rock split...
Lightning flashed across the sky
The clouds ,all lit
The wind ,howling by

The black clouds scudded across,
driven by the wind before them
The lightning...
Like an angry whip
Cracked and burned
Through the night
Like a lover spurned
Like a lover lost

The rock split
The air burned
The lightning twisted and turned
An angry light ..
Flickered here
Flickered there
Like a lover spurned

The lightning struck here
The lightning struck there
Shards of rock filled the air
Monstrous black clouds passed through,
in an angry heart too
For, it burned...
Like a lover spurned

The black clouds
Passed through
Leaving a pale moon,
whose light fell on me too

All this in my heart too...
all churned,
where the lightning burned,
through and through
The angry light,
Extinguished...
Replaced by a pale moon,
that fell on me

The blood flowed
Deep rich red,
in a storm
The lightning...
The light that bled
In a heart bestowed

Storms abate....
The one in my heart
Still aches....
With the storms I make
