Upon the Waters' Moon
The clouds scudded across
A windswept sky
It was deepest night
As I watched magic pass by
The moon had risen
There it hung in soft silver
Scattering beams of light
Upon the waters, bright
Its' pale reflection on water
As I watched magic pass by
If I could catch the moonlight
I would cast it upon midnight waters
Beneath a windswept sky
Upon the waters' moon
I saw beams of light
I could not tell if it was
Starlight or moonlight
All I saw was the faintest ripple
Upon the waters' moon
In deepest night
