~ Wet pawprints trail across the rocks ~ 
                                 ~ Peeking through the thicket ~                   
                               ~ Watching ~ With hungry eyes ~ 
                                      ~ Suspicious triplets ~ 
                               ~ The mornings mist ~ Still drifting ~ 
                                    ~ Across the Salmon River ~  
                                        ~ With her belly full ~
