With my fishing pole in hand, ready to land a few Coho Salmon in the great Salmon River Upstate New York. I witnessed this remarkable scene of a mother bear walking out of the river with a fish in her mouth and bringing it to her cubs. I never did fish that part of the river that day. But It was worth the give up.
