As a race, we are one, yet scattered.
Thrown to the wind, like our ashes.
The soul is a stranger to the physical.
Still, the pact with the flesh remains.
After centuries of walking in shoes.
To the desolation of human desires.
That has been dangled on a stick.
The Sadhus look toward the skies.
Certain of the event they wait for.
As the night brings round the day.
Comes the window of opportunity.
For like the dawn, we too are reborn.
In a world, where greatness is waiting!

Through lands mistral-blown or rife with men’s fights,
To seas swollen with sirens and storm clouds,
I’ve strayed, a glutton for unwonted sights,
And a vagrant soul by wanderlust roused.
Sadhus and satyrs have peopled my nights,
All of life’s hope and savagery I’ve browsed.
But now my feet are too calloused to roam,
Ready, at last, to take the long road home.
