Decisions sometime results in failure;
we start analyzing our behavior.
Many times it is really painful.
Regret comes as natural emotion
can't decide what next, completely broken.
With failure we reflect, ponder defects,
know flaws, look for the ways to solve complex
situation to think of steps special;
Helps to be empathic to others' needs,
aware of what's going on to heed leads.
Yet, with failure no need to be ashamed;
Successful people in the world have failed
the most times, but learned lesson from it, scaled
great heights. Let's not regret, success be aimed.

This is a Rosarian Sonnet in pentameter
I wanted to see a new sailing ship.
To Dana Point I went, just a short trip,
I toured the Brig Pilgrim, gift from Denmark
to the United States honoring great
Henry Richard Dana;s voyage of late.
It was around Cape Horn they plied their sails
in eighteen thirty-five. through rain and gales.
With hope of buying hides they disembark
off California’s Spanish rancho fields.
San Diego’ s ranchos gave many yields.
Rancho San Lauius filled ship’s hold full
Fiesta was given by vaqueros
Mayordomo was happy with pesos.
He gave special fight with rancho’s mean bull
Beneath a sky of blazing stars I see
that love is possible for you and me
and in the solitude of this dark night
I lower shields that guard around my heart
so love can pull the clouds of tears apart.
My passions want has been restrained too long,
my dreams contained by fears of siren song,
where all is darkness, never seeing light.
Bewildered senses battered and confused
until your touch could heal a heart so bruised.
Your gift of love I shall always treasure
and as I feel your lips now caress mine
I know for certain our love is divine
and lifts our souls beyond worldly measure.
