G-rand style of writing rhymes
H-as quenched the reader's thirst;
I-t fully feeds the hungry heart,
E-arly January thirty-first.
E-xpressed poems in grand style
B-righten the darkest day;
U-sing sublime sentence and phrase,
E-liminating the blue and gray.
N-ice verses and lofty lines lead you to a sweetest smile;
G-reat feeling of love is brought by weaving words in grand style.

Who has never aspired, dreamed or thought
of becoming the leader of the greatest nation
and protect everybody's freedom with ambition;
will his notion of changing something leave that
indelible mark of excellence on history and hearts;
some presidents give all before their soul departs.
Rising to power is the final step to victory,
whatever was said and promised eloquently
remains in question when the scales are unbalanced;
don't rush to judgement, or assume you are trumped.
Remain skeptical, until there's no more credibility:
to righten injustices and bring stability and safety
is a hard task for anyone when the road gets bumpy;
be ready to expect the unexpected, keep your sanity.
Rising to power increases the ego to accomplish more with compromise,
acting swiftly and striking the one violating humane rules is very wise;
atrocity must be condemned, any tyrant must be taken down at once,
but the ones who speak against it think they've been trumped by surprise.

In the blink of an eye the earth reversed
the sun rising in the west setting in the east
gravity's pull suddenly lessened it's hold
heavy things grow much lighter and floated
Look up to the sky and see what I mean
houses, cars animals and people flying
water running uphill instead of down
mighty oceans now the sky adorn
All still just kept within earth's strati-fear
beneath shines a land so strange
empty lakes and ponds now up in the sky
bewildered animals flying by, oh so high
As the day grew slowly to its close
gravity started to righten herself
and things began to resettle themselves
yet landing in totally different places
The poles became hot lands of sunshine
while the tropics were buried deep in snow
oh what a pickle it all was the army striving
to return things to normal but all in vain
Mammoth rescues of creatures to their normal climes
speed was all important before they perished
to our credit most were rescued and re-homed
our earth always mysterious is now reversed
How will we cope in this new places
well come back in a thousand years
I suspect human nature will be unchanged
still the same old BS run by the same morons

To the giver of my life,
The bearer of this child,
My protector from strife,
My guide from going wild.
To the nurse of my aches,
The suave of my pains,
The baker of my cakes,
My umbrella from the rains.
To the teacher of my youth,
The mentor of my mind,
The one who’d soothe my tooth,
Always fair and kind:
This is my tribute to you,
An ode to my mom.
Thanks for giving me the strength
To righten when down.
Thanks for going to any length
To get rid of my frown.
Thanks for the times we’d just talk
And you’d be my friend.
Thanks for teaching me to walk,
And to stand up, in the end.
Thanks for giving me your love
And taking the time to care.
And when you’re gone to heaven above,
I’ll always look up and see you there.
This is my tribute to you,
I love you, Mom.
