Rhesus Poems

Premium MemberEssential Questions

The essential question we have at hand

Was it God who created man
Or was God an invention of a Jewish clan

Is the Bible the word of the Divine
Or a narrative spawned from human minds

Did Jesus arise from the grave
Or was his body simply stolen away

The answer to these questions holds eternal weight
And both sides require an element of faith

My intellect finds more evidence for a risen Jesus
Than for my ancestors evolving from a rhesus

I Didnt

I didn’t cry
I just got my eyes dry
In life you got to try

I didn’t lie
I said what didn’t like
In life you got to psych

I didn’t hate
I looked beyond the gate
In life you must accept fate

I didn’t love
I only took a move
In life you don’t have to trust love

I didn’t see
I only found myself in the sea
In life you must have eyes to see

I didn’t say all these
I thought I had a thesis
In life you need a positive rhesus

I didn’t say I’m right
I thought in sense all humans are right
In life you got t pass some rites

The Duality of Man 2

The Duality of man 2…
Picture the beast getting its own way,
When weak of “spirit” steps aside,
Animal lust comes out to play,
Control your body, have some pride,
Yes it is a Monkey body,
Rhesus monkey blood, have I,
Give in to its wants and needs?
Go to jail sometimes to cry,
Cos the Monkey passion won?
When the animal has control,
Madness bloodlust does persist,
Watched in horror by the soul,
Conscience chatters, does insist,
I fight 4 some control.
Don Johnson
so the weak soul loses control
and the monkey body lets passion or bloodlust
satisfy its wants and primal needs...
and the concience screams enough!!!

Premium MemberBlood Types

Here’s a little something you might like to know.
You're a universal donor if your blood is type “O”.
You may have type “A”, or perhaps type “B”,
You may even possess the type known as “AB”.
“AB” is the blood that is found less frequently.
That type is considered a universal recipient fortunately.
For the D antigen, most people are Rhesus factor positive.
Less common are those who are Rh negative.
So there is just a little medical information.
The American Red Cross seeks donors throughout the nation.

Information obtained from pamphlets distributed by the American Red Cross.

Abiku Speaks

Abiku speaks..... sickle cell patient

Let me go, for I’m in pains
COS I’m guilty not,
In this case.
COS all these, are your own faults.

Am not as wicked as you think,
for I also
Wish to stay as other babies
do
Only for you, to
Have denied me, the right to
do.

I tried pleasing you, b’cos
Staying a week is a difficult
task.
I wonder whom you lent your
ears.
Cos all this, has Mendel said.

Far down early 1880s,
But it’s a pity, people still fall
victims, till late 1990s.
Always will I keep to the soil,
b’cos
I have no strength, to endure
the pains

All your claims are correct
not
For I challenge you, to show just
One, of those who came back not
With their two ears
fit

I will only stay,
If you do as the doctor says,
“Check your rhesus and your
genotype”
“Before stepping into
marriage”.

But, if you yield not to
warnings
Then, in vain will nine month
be.
For, in my royal gourd,
Will I abide!!!

My Life In Different Tongues

Ancestors had fore-planned
My whole being in Spanish
Yet, my concerned parents wrote
My rhesus A-plus blood in Tagalog

I was born, they said
To enjoy my own life, not theirs
That I took slowly my first steps in Ilocano
Only to be held captive by a beast, a stranger

My Dad, lover of math, thought I got his brain
So, he slaved himself working…and sent
Me to a Catholic private school, but
I found myself reading in Russian

‘Cos I was granted summers bathe in Dnepro
Where I spied the future in a Ukrainian accent
Thou, alone for years, I managed to earn happiness
As I learned friendship and peace in Arabic

But, I was best-loved in Chechen
And I’ve lived my dalliance in French, my lovers
For me, my inspirations; they half-influenced
Me, to become words whisperer in English

Oh yes, life is strange
And full of twists, yet, I saw the sliver
Of hope in Modern Greek, when
I met my other half. She spoke about….

Xristos, in whom I now dwell
For his language of love I learn to speak
And I try to live it in perfection
Till I breathe my last
