Deixe

Deixe...

Que o Natal de hoje
faça a ponte
para reviver o natal de ontem,
e crie o happy hour para amanhã

No Natal de hoje
deixe as crianças terem sua noite de diversão e riso.
deixe-nos adultos compartilharem;
deixe adultos compartilhar com crianças
antes de cada um;
voltar à tarefa severa
de construir os anos formidáveis
que aguardam por fazer mais.

Premium MemberMadam Anna

Anna Bananna was a madam
Never odd or even
She performed her civic duty
By maintaining stats
On the subtlety of sexes
She used a radar for precision
Using codes when she’d refer
To everything from solos to curiosities
Ensuring to pull up her level
Maintaining her top spot
As proud reviver of the arts
Driving her hot pink racecar
Aha! There she goes Anna Bananna

TENET OF REIFIER NATURE

Summer’s departing footsteps on the eve of autumn I hear
as the sun blazing the topography mellows down at noon,
and on dewed meadow at sunrise verdant shimmers appear,
the blushing leaves rustle as they’ll become redder soon.

The dawn’s tapestry depicts the sagas woven in autumn color
as the crimson fringed clouds kayak across the cerulean sky.
The sunburst horizon makes the pristine nature a true reifier
that’ll disappear never ever even if the doom’s day is nigh.

At this time my senses capture the signals of season as radar,
the waiting winter’s lurking shadow my mental eye can see.
I soak the warmth of fall air that’ll act in me as the reviver
when in the frigid times at the lowest level of gloom I’ll be.

Premium MemberThe Kayak Ride

I took my KAYAK to the river for a magic glide
to see a red breast robin soar ALULA stride

He owned REVIVER eyes of sprite that shout
and ebon wings of blue that LEVEL out

He sang a MINIM throated song of chirp
with PULLUP lifted moves I couldn't crop

One glide across the river, oh what joy
to live in leisure time without decoy;

Corpse Reviver No 2

With just a rinse of Absinthe,
     To underscore its flair,
There’s no pretense in its name,
It’s meant to raise your hair

The sweet essence of Cointreau,
     Balanced by a Lillet wine,
Endorses juice of lemon,
     By its own design

When added to the shaker,
    Iced and ready to begin,
It’s time to add what’s crucial,
     Your favorite old dry gin

Now shake till your bones rattle,
     Whatever else you do
And you’ll not soon forget the
      Corpse Reviver no. 2

The Corpse reviver No.2
was invented in the 1920's.
It was designed as a hangover cure!

Pequeno Truque

Nos negócios e na vida
devemos agarrar...
agarrar o que amamos
e as pessoas que amamos.

AH! Como são pobres as receitas
para perpetuar uma relação.
Mas, eu tenho um pequeno truque.
Vou compartilhar com você!

Quando faço o que eu amo.
Quando estou com quem amo.
Quando quero perpetuar uma relação
[...] faço de conta...

Faço de conta...
Faço de conta que posso reviver,
Faço aquilo que não fiz...
Inovo, tento, invento.

Quando quero perpetuar uma relação
Faço as perguntas que faltou fazer,
reparo em tudo o que não vi;
Vivo uma última oportunidade
de resguardar e de reter.

E assim, agarro o que eu amo!

Sparring With Death

People call me surviver,
because my head hit a car
and I cheated death.
I know not my reviver, for I cannot recall,
but maybe I saw the reaper, maybe I felt his breath.
Maybe as I grew weaker, and passed the portal past death,
maybe I made a deal, and he removed my black veil,
in return for double vision, knowing single's ideal.
Maybe, just maybe
he reversed time, just enough for me to heal.
Maybe, no UNQUESTIONABLY! he made me forget
like sobriety to an addict of meth.

People call me lucky, cunning, and graced
to dance with the reaper
and survive the embrace.
But my view is different and I'll make it known.
If I cheated Death, I did it alone.
Thinking, linking, ideas clinking
so creative,
untill my mind's far from my face;
to the reaper death is native, so sedative,
while used to life, death's not my place.
Death was on his comfy throne,
while I was far from my zone.
Who's to say Death's job is to kill,
and not to read your intentions
and oppose with death, or worse than death blows.
Maybe I intended/expected to die.
Maybe he was destined to disagree.
So if I intended and was destined to die,
then in cheating death,
DEATH CHEATED ME.

Premium MemberCatch!

Finding myself alone
A musical phrase keeps repeating
Repeating repeating
CATCH! like a stuck needle on an old 78

Mindless at 6:00 a.m. in the bathroom
Mind white and stained as the sink
I CATCH!
Things thought forgotten weave in....

Completely stupid!
The phrase
A t.v. ad for?.................
Toothpaste or?..................................

TOOTHPASTE! Yes that great peppermint reviver
A quick glance (force of habit) at the clock
PRESENCE!
"Miles to go"

Deodorant
Brush and comb
Eye wash
CATCH!

That stupid incessant theme again!

From Soup To Nuts

Oh, can I run with this one....I better be careful!!!.....

Soup to nuts,
When I spilt the bowl,
You could hear me yell,
From the lower parts of hell,
I screamed "There's a soup
In my fly!!!"
Oh me, oh my.....
Give me first aid,
Before my sperm start to fade,
And if the truth you hide,
I will swear you lied,
Cause the truth is plain,
That your soup did maim,
My manhood right to claim,

I walk out of here,
but it's very clear...
This restaurant you own,
Will soon enough pay your loan,
for damages to me,
Which you'll never see!!

for Rene', Shar, Rhoda, Jack Reed,
Christy, Ruby, Laine, Cile, Joe, Karen,
Vernette,Kim,Teresa,Patricia,John,
Danielle,John,Charles,Vince,Wilfredo,
Michael,Orma,Caryl,Brian,Rhea,Jessica,
and all the wonderful poets who make "The Soup"
the delicacy, the gourmet mind treat, the spirit
reviver, the place to have fun...the place to BELONG!!!!!
I love you all,- you have greatly enriched my life,
annnnnd spark whatever creativity I can muster...
God Bless........
