I remember being given some simple advice.
It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice.
Can I ask that you just hold this thought?
And give me time, whilst I retaught.
In a world where kindness can blossom and thrive.
Where a simple smile can change a life.
Stay humble, smile often, keep honest, be kind.
To see acts of kindness it still blows my mind.
You only keep what you've got by giving it away.
So sharing is caring, these words I convey.
Where trust is gained and loyalty returned.
And honesty is appreciated, and respect is earned.
Be grateful for everything I have and everything i know.
Makes everything I am, and everything I show.
So in acts of compassion, with truth in my mind.
Through laughter and tears and struggles, we find.
With each time I show kindness and self sacrifice.
I am reminded again that it's nice to be nice.

What will we do with the poems we’ve written
pampered and teased like a fluff ball fur kitten
ironed them out to conform to a form
a mystical mystery outside of the norm?
Where will we go for a question, a thought
insightful lessons, relearned and retaught
Who will we ask for a hint, for a clue
a debt for the muse that will never come due.
How will we fill those scribbles of time
doodles on paper with no sense of rhyme
answer the question in voice or in phrase
prepare for an eloquent end of these days?
It has been said “we take mentors for granted
Until we see bloom the seeds that they planted."

When Stern candlelike transcendence of Laws abides within me Always,
I am blissful in the Integrity that I am.
I dream a song bereft of any expectation
I am alive again and again
Better to be me, than to eliminate all possibility.
Ahead of me are two forks in the path.
I take the one that bellows.
Complete, I, in a festival of Living,
Illumined by a lonely Light.
Therefore, whatever stands against transcendence must not prevail
Unless He be the King, He could be anybody, really... You?
For He has bought my Heart and Blood with a Price.
