Reconstitution Poems | Examples

Premium MemberHurry

  Hurry, get there on time
    Can’t afford to be late
      The world never waits
  Move, hustle, push and shove
    You’ve a date with love

  Destiny requires a destination
     a solution, resolution
       betimes reconstitution
  Move, hustle, push and shove
    You’ve a date with love

  States of agitation
    test maturation
      rise above defamation
  Move, hustle, push and shove
     You’ve a date with love…

  It’s over, my fool
    it never was cool
      the world's ever cruel

Premium MemberFrom the Ashes

Can I escape
from my own imbedded think
Rapidly warped perception
is the liquid I drink
What Jesus is saying
I discard with a blink
My mind bent morality
displacing Biblical ink

The collapse of my synapses
interlinked and exhausted
with too many strange thoughts
my mixed mind is accosted
So sinking six feet
a shrivelled seed potted
Mildewed dusty dirty
in the burnt soil rotted

I rise from the ashes
Escape from my dry
Soul, body, mind, reconstitution
on the wind I now fly
Embracing this new freedom
Knowing why my old self had to die
Perspective changes everything
when viewed from on high

For God’s ways are different
He speaks in whispers not a shout
Trusting in His wisdom
removes every doubt
Within this mortal heart
I can feel His Spirit sprout
Who I wished to be before
is no longer what I’m about.

Premium MemberAnxious Pride

Anxious pride has me humming my special tune
The Destiny Of Me superficial charms has me
Smiling at all of the negativity i see
What should I think how should I say hello, good
Morning, or pleased to meet you, good night

Watch them PUPIL TO PUPIL with a smirk
I'm GOD'S complex child i plan to eventually
Reach my dreams I'll be arriving, i don't know when
Anxious pride is for one's who care about impressions
Anxiety is a powerful motivator Everyone has them

I am proud of my anxiety i feel my shoulders grow
Tense that's a slick reminder still not there yet
If I fret, I fail have to begin again I have to much
pride For reconstitution my thing is I must remain
Optimistic i attempt to cause the betterment

Of situations I've failed many times often causing
Injury to my pride i know I must kick that to the side
And attempt a different route no substitute it must
Be done if i am to achieve anything at all
Can't afford the fall

Cherish the dream move on

Premium MemberHollow Man

He walked along the barbs of life
Slowly what had filled him
Drained away
Seeped out upon the ground
Hollowed him
Dried him out
Turned his heart to dust

He looked the same
The shell remained
The carefully manicured facade
Then came the winds
The winds of change
Blowing him away
Or possibly towards
His reconstitution

Hollow man
Refilled
Redefined
Heart pumping
Excited
Dreaming
Laughing and crying
A spirit now flying
Insides no longer dying
Inside filled to overflowing
Muck had been released
Inside white as fleece

Sometimes what's inside
Needs to be washed away
An empty cup can be refilled
Purified
Electrified
Freed from false pride
Heart freed when love is applied
Opened with nothing to hide
Living once again
Enjoying the ride.

Hollow man
Is now okay
Not empty like yesterday
