Yearlings Zigzag
Arctic bear cubs, den,
exiting frozen grounds halfway into June.
Keeping low,
mothers navigate onshore perils,
quietly roving.
Sensing they've uninvitedly violated
wildlife's Xenia,
yearlings zigzag.
