We are not the same
I walk miles for people
that wouldnt take one step for me
the hurt that this causes
Is something you cant see
Everytime they call on me
I try to always be there
but when I need someone
they never even seem to care
the realization I had today
Made me really sad
I dont have as many friends
As i thought i had
Even though i now know
Excatly where we stand
I will keep on giving
Because thats just who i am
the way that you treat me
wont affect you at all
Because I will still try to lift you up
Even as you watch me fall
