To Myself, With Patience
You’ve stood in the shadows, afraid to speak,
quiet and uncertain, the world too loud.
You’ve carried more weight than anyone knows,
worked for your future before you even believed it was yours.
You were twelve when the world cracked open,
and still, you kept moving,
quiet, steady,
though the weight often felt too much.
There’s no map for what you’ve walked,
but every step has made you someone new.
So be gentle with yourself,
you’ve made it this far.
Don’t rush.
Just keep holding on.
