A person can’t know what their future holds,
but they can know the hand in which it rests.
We oft encounter problems as our day unfolds,
and many times it appears to be a series if tests.
But God has a purpose for the clouds in our day,
sometimes it’s a lesson or to increase our faith.
Many times it’s a reminder that gets us to pray,
briefly diverting our attention to Hell’s wraith.
Instead of whining about some perceived wrong,
we should start each day with blessing counting.
Praying for those things that will make us strong,
for in judgment each will face an accounting.
