Under the Impression

I am under the impression
Of a design on the ceiling
Should I use all my discretion
For the pains that I am feeling

I am under the impression
That’s been put into the roof
Should I show you the direction
Then you will have the proof

I am under the impression
That you don’t like who I am
Just like an infection
You hit me with a slam

I am under the impression
That the world is turning round
And like some big infraction
Gravity drops you to the ground

I was under the impression
That the world is turning round
There was not a big infraction
It was true that’s what I found

I was under the impression
But then I moved aside
Never lost my direction
Nor will I run and hide

I was under the impression
That was put into the roof
I used all my directions
To fix it I have proof

I was under the impression
Of what was on the ceiling
With all of my discretion
Fixed the pains that I was feeling
