Prayer For Theologians
Theologians are in a quandary
In a fixed rotation mystical
God made them that way
Informed but never boring
In orbit around the sun and back again
To travel one mile down the road
To church with ideas to raise the dead
Keep them at a distance we pray
Make them stay exactly where they are
Just close enough to touch the nearest star
But not too far as not to be appreciated
In proper form we pray
