Hibiscus
Written: March 05, 2024
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a colorful garden where nature blooms.
At your call, I rise tall and dulcet in red looms.
My flowers are trumpet-shaped and clear.
I am a Hibiscus, an iconic flower, comely dear.
Akin to Eden, I bedizen earth with an exotic zest
Birds, bees, and butterflies join to sip my digest.
A burst of hues, lambent views, in a yard of sate.
Wildlife dances comely by the scene, full of cate.
My time is short, for I fall soon after I bloom.
Above my grace, my life doesn't cease in doom.
My petals hold peculiar cures beyond compare.
My teas and pills ease pain and pressure, so rare.
