Tears In My Eyes

I have tears in my eyes because of where I came from.
Knowing the unbelievable things that I have done.
What I have achieved stands second to none.
I wasn't supposed to make it past twenty-one.
My eyes bleed for those who didn't make the the trip.
Like my little brother, of whom, I wore on my hip.
As long as I live, I will have tears in my eyes.
Because I still can't believe I'm still alive.
