Streamlining the Pain

You broke down barriers and set me free
Like butter that melted for the cause
You spiced up my life and flavoured me
With delicacies from foreign shores
Covered my head with jelly fish moulds
Told me to dream then put me to bed
Shaken and stirred with slivers of gold
Showed me of blues that you have bled
Standing for journeys to be undertaken
Frozen in realms of art imagery
Steadied in captured essence forsaken
Venturing forth with wobbly knees
Transformed forever this sculpture remains
Not fearing the comforts of being at ease
Framed like some unstable ocean wave
Floating in silence on stormy seas
I chuckled at the thought of innocence
And almost forgot the meaning of fun
Tickling the soles of benevolence
As the dark proceeds to get swallowed by the sun
Light will break free, let truth be told?
Fresh water fish that will learn to fly
There’s lots more beauty for us to behold
Skipping along while ignoring the signs
Becoming unflinching and slippery when wet
Passing the points of no return
Cross ponds and lakes with no regret
Ending the saltwater freedom spurn
Yet one thing still remains inept
The innocence that I demonstrate
Though prominent and very well kept
Shall evaporate and recreate
The ripple effect that's all but died
In mushroom clouds far up above
Soon flowing myself onto your insides
To close the emphatic circle of love
That is the fuel which keeps us sane
I must admit that I emit a strange glow
Whenever I’m standing outside in the rain
I open my gaping being to swallow
The musings as my lips come apart
I welcome the showers that wet my plains
It charges the vein that pumps my heart
And cleans my canvas while drowning pains
To liven the pastures with lushes of green
Leaving me thinking of what next to do
Ideally surfacing secrets unseen
As I smile and cry in wonder of you
