Mountain erring is human - Kafkaesque personification of a mountain

Mountainous - there's a joke in there somewhere
Funny how I just appeared one day
Or at least that's how it feels
I've observed others rise and fall
Whilst I stay put
There's more to me, weight, heaviness
I hold the skeletons of thousands
My soil fertile with their bodies and brains
All that thinking, then endings
To keep me engaged, the longest endings help;
the most thought goes into them, me
I'm gifted with seasonal change,
so many of my days frozen, never to the core
The only way to enjoy verdancy -
contrast of profusion and sparsity
To be layered is exquisite, I'm exquisite
Particularly with the sun as a backdrop
That's the thought, the beauty in death's thought
Decomposing whilst composing - no body (or brain) finds that amusing, but I'm here for millennia - I'll work on my delivery
Being mostly a graveyard and a place of other fertilising contributions doesn't make me less fun
It's a funny slant; needs some crafting into an act
It's a thought that was planted a while ago:
"Comedian" - I loved it immediately
Deadpan seems generally my go to,
perhaps black humour: "the final act, you'll die for"
More walk ins than worth of mouth, obviously,
zero repeat visitors, though some repeat on me
Maybe I'm looking to die on stage,
maybe that's my fascination
Or at least get a heckler - I'd like that,
just for the summer season.
