quiet
Been quiet of late
Watching the change of this worlds fate
So much hate
Had to get away
Not much too say
So I sit around
Sharing what I have found
A long hard winter does approach
Forget the life coach
Store stock runs low
Time tick tocks so slow
Double ought below
Who knew
As the cold wind blew
Waiting on a summer never to arrive
Those that prepare survive
Up to you if you get out alive
People fighting
Writers writing
Telling the news
This is not Dr Seuss
Hard and the cold
Warmth is being sold
Of no use, being old
In the good fight,
nothing is ever right
The ever lasting night
The rich
Get the itch
To be a
The rest
Must pass the test
Survive or die
For when the night starts to cry
Ice cubes fall from the sky
Growing as they fall
Crushing every wall
Crazy talk
Walking the walk
