Word Play on Schism
Is it shism with a soft “k”
or skism with a hard “k”?
The “ch” sound in English
can go either way, as in
church and chin, scold and school.
Personally, I’ve never had
a problem with it, because
I schink schome people are schimply
too skittish, and therefore
schplit over right usechage.
