Sunset's Quest

In tones of a blushing sunset,
Folding, midway between graceful
And twilight, hesitating
On the verge of a wind’s song,
Quivering with light,
Familiar yet like a silent smile,
Serene and acquainted with the stars,
Lessons in sky talk,
Melting hearts and reassuring souls,
When the night bleeds through,
Darkening the thoughts,
Reflections of hope, soothing
Away the shadows, hunting through,
Lingering lines in the silhouettes,
Soft regrets forming
On the moments, not yet gone,
Gently fashioned from grace that burns,
Beyond the musings of a tangerine
Night, flowing with burnt hues,
Melancholy – some blue
Never more beautiful that the truth,
Who dissolves into the blackness,
Night’s mysteries, her sadness,
Flowing like a river,
Solemn as the purple tones,
Silencing the dejected indigo,
Richest nostalgia, bold as black
Who risks starving before the dusk fades,
Spiraling out of control,
From sundown, from yesterday
Glowing with the rising of tomorrow,
When everything spins into as optimism
Reserved for the coming of age,
Promising, even in the longest day,
There will be stars glistening, like pearls,
Seeded in the skies, boasting of a night,
Sparkling seas of dreams,
Tumbling over the heavens,
Brimming with joy,
Boasting of night’s burning,
Knowing that, through the flames,
Rages a feeling, blessed by the stillness,
Blazing in evenings,
Meant for healing, meant for the realness,
Twilight’s senses,
Graceful and gentle, feeling,
Flames glowing,
Reality, the knowing, slow as summer,
Waving goodbye as autumn
Invites the world to its auburn soul,
A slow and solemn world
Where the harvest blesses and the zillion
Colors of wistfulness beckon,
Bringing night the intrigue, concluding
With a sunset like fire, erasing the native
In imaginative, leaving only stunned leaves,
To imagine, to grieve
For a summer who must leave,
So we can discover autumn’s cure,
Breathing through the crisp air,
Sending the spirit a light,
Who remembers to fade with the dusk,
Sending the believer a second chance
To risk that wish, on a star
Who carries joy within her spark,
Dances, flowing like the heart,
Who hears of love and lights up,
Growing more wonderful,
As the sunset plants the romance
Into the circumstance,
Erasing the color black
Inventing a glistening night
Who believes – love is alive,
More alive than the stars and the quiet
Who knows sunset can mesmerize!
