FAITH IN GOD WHO PROTECTS US FROM DESTRUCTION
God protects us from destruction with His salvation
Always preserving us around His redemption
For our faith’s growth in prayer and supplication
Toward Christian prosperity midst spiritual satisfaction.
God protects us from destruction with His righteousness
Always sanctifying us from our confessed sinfulness
For our faith’s conviction to abide in His holiness
Toward good testimony of triumphant joyfulness.
God protects us from destruction with His deliverance
Always leading us by His Word’s assurance
For our faith’s increase as we study to conquer ignorance
Toward heavenly gain along wise perseverance.
God protects us from destruction with His hand
Always keeping us inside His will’s loving demand
For our faith’s obedience to fulfill His command
Toward wondrous experience to see miracles He has planned.
God protects us from destruction with His mercy
Always enclosing us in His contentment’s sufficiency
For our faith’s steadfastness against complacency
Toward earnest reliance in His promises along trust’s fervency.
God protects us from destruction with His triumphant reign
Always reproving us whenever we complain in our pain
For our faith’s dependence on His instruction never vain
Toward victorious trek along His perfect terrain.
God protects us from destruction with His exhortation cheer
Always encouraging us by His comforting steer
For our faith’s drive onward in serving Him, overcoming fear
Toward productive stewardship along His commendation so dear.
