Koropuko Falls
Painstakingly perfectly placed path
Turn slowly..surely over
Fern festooned forest floor
Sun dappled glade, bathed and swathed
Glorious green sheens in every shade
Follow the hidden hollow - through a secret door..
Fairies frolic on tour…bucolic tonic to explore
Rumbling..fumbling through moss tumbling dreams
Stumbling…rambling, ambling & scrambling
Rugged roots hugs…tugs.. rock hewn strewn rugs...
Babbling gabbling brooks..dabbling with nooks
Where all is not as it seems
Whispers wafting of winsome wonders
Then through the bush wanders
Boisterous bursts in sensational spurts…
Spellbound by the sound..moreish moans
Raiding…cascading…braiding polished stones
Pedigree lichen filigree lurches..
Gluts shouldered.. struts bouldered ruts
Gliding sliding down slippery perches
Travesty not to unwind when you find
Mystical, magical, mythical majesty
See this tantalising tree lined tapestry
Mother Nature’s one of a kind churches
I close my eyes and I can see you,
Feel you… love you & miss you so…
You already know.. you are
My special place.. My beloved Koropuko...
