Three Travelers
On a dark and lonesome road
On a dark and stormy night
There were three hellbent travelers
Just out looking for a fight
After closing down the bar
Saw a boy standing in the road
So they pulled their car to the side
And they started to unload
They had never seen his face
And they didn't know his name
They didn't care who he was
But they beat him just the same
He could see their bloodshot eyes
He could smell their rancid breath
And with no way to defend himself
The three beat that boy to death
With the fire still in their eyes
Out to kill for killing's sake
They drove for miles out of town
And dumped his body in the lake
They all stood there in silence
As they watched his corpse go down
Then they jumped back in their car
And they headed back to town
Feeling so cool and cocky
After shedding their bloody load
Then they saw that same boy standing
In the middle of the road
The driver slammed on the brakes
It was such a shocking surprise
He stood there staring with nostrils flaring
And now the fire was in His eyes
He didn't care who they were
And didn't care to know their names
Here was this boy with a look of joy
As their car burst into flames
Still smiling cold and silent
This act of vengeance done so well
With Satan scheming he heard them screaming
Three more travelers bound for Hell
