Time, Creator of Manuscripts

Our memory is like an ever changing manuscript
That only we, as individuals, are given privilege to read.
This manuscript chronicles our life experiences,
Both worthy and lamentable.
With each pendulum swing, new pages are added,
And many of those pages, yellowed by time,
Eventually disappear.
Sometimes we may question the veracity
Of what we’re reading as to accuracy of content,
Whether truth or fabrication.
While recall’s ability may fail us,
God alone, always knows the truth.
