Wicked Tongues Cost Lives

There is no wind to clear the stench of our own decay,
Where, like vultures we eat the carcass of flesh and bone,
Where love lives in minds and the heart is thrown away,
As we keep chewing on flesh once loved 'til there is none..

How brave we are to summon words then twist the knife,
To spit such venom from salivating sharpened tongues,
To leap and fuel the fire without care or thought for life,
Keep thrusting your wicked tongues, that never wronged.

There are no words to feed the heart today, the pen has died,
So Let's jump for joy and bathe in the glory of anothers pain,
Let's light the torches and drown satan with the tear you've cried,
Then rearrange slipped halos when there's nothing left to gain.
