Moments To Last A Lifetime
Hesitating, I feel his pulse
Racing, like the winds breathless
Whisper, through the oaks, the pines,
Forest’s redemption – erasing the melancholic
Fading stars, glazing a summer sky,
Embracing the mystery of two hearts,
Two lives, pressed together – like petals,
Saved in a bible, between the verses,
Where yesterday’s psalms call, blessings
Pure as the moments just before
Moonlight reflects on the sea, a music,
Far more beautiful than we can play alone,
Far more alive than two hearts have ever known…
Music, like orchids sobbing beneath a storm,
Where the lightening begs the spirit
To dance with the silence, the blending of two
Hearts who know the tune, the beat, the rhythm,
Stories unfold in the rich, clear passions,
Two souls who delight in the richness of a vibrant
Light, flowing – trembling, echoing,
Like the song that sings without music,
A cappella, soothing away the darkness,
Risking the shame, the heartbreak, the need
Between two who know – two who believe,
The rush of grace, the beautiful that is awake,
In hearts who meet on a winding street,
Of love so sweet, so very sweet,…
Moments, falling desperately,
Intense as the July heat – melting away,
The kisses who erase every fear,
The kisses who silence every tear,
The moments – intense and steady,
Like a newborn dream, heavy with hope,
Music that warms the spirit,
Inspiring the gentlest feelings,
Blessings, falling from the lives who are willing…
To love without conditions
With love that fills the moments
Promises, whispers, sentiments
Like a sensitive that never despairs,
Of the feelings, such sweet feelings,
Heavy with the hope that contents
Even the stars, as they twinkle
On the edge of a glistening memory,
Remembering each moment,
Preparing the spirit to know what it is
To love this way,… with love
Only two hearts kindled with the magnetism,
The allure of two thoughts, two lives, two loves,
Can possibly understand or believe in….
Moments turned into liquid laughter
On the heels of forever,
Where hope meets with light,
Falling from the spirit who embraces
Love that replaces
All of yesterday’s tears,
With a joy that appears when the moments
Bleed grace and love so sincere,
it feels like God has blessed these feelings,
blessed these moments with His special permission…
to love without conditions,
to love so each moment is a blessing,
only love can be this special
only love can be this exceptional
only love can quiet the worst fears,
and fill the spirit with a serenity that fulfills,
so forever – yes, forever is the gift,
two who are one will never be undone –
this is love that God has breathed…
through those who truly believe –
and this is love that God has secured,
with His gift, inspiration for moments
meant to be wrapped in silence,
and dated with hearts who last a lifetime.
