Way back when I first started, I whimpered
to you:
"No comments have I, or so very few!"
You spared no words, just plainly said,
"Did you come here to collect comments
or to write poetry, instead?"
So that has kept me here and busily quilling.
So whenever I see few comments,I just keep
drilling.
I swore on the day, I reached 1400 poems,
I'd write a poem to share her Instructions that
brought a point home."
That day is today, M.L.!
I think of what you told me and I thus,
I wrote like h_ll!
I have only been here a year and a half.
But to non-commentors~ I just laugh!
But your one comment saved my
poetic neck.
I would have quit long ago if you had
not told me
"Poetry above Popularity." or you'll
be a wreck!
