Ml Kiser Tribute On Comments

M.L. Kiser-Tribute on Comments Way back when I first started, I whimpered to you: "No comments have I, or so very few!" You spared no words, just plainly said, "Did you come here to collect comments or to write poetry, instead?" So that has kept me here and busily quilling. So whenever I see few comments,I just keep drilling. I swore on the day, I reached 1400 poems, I'd write a poem to share her Instructions that brought a point home." That day is today, M.L.! I think of what you told me and I thus, I wrote like h_ll! I have only been here a year and a half. But to non-commentors~ I just laugh! But your one comment saved my poetic neck. I would have quit long ago if you had not told me "Poetry above Popularity." or you'll be a wreck! With gratitude~ Panagiota Romios 1400 poems. ML, Those 1400 would never had been achieved sans what you told me. It's a challenge to keep going. I had to decide this..."let them all ignore me...keep writing." That's hard to do. I want to quit daily. It's your voice and my love of Poetry that moves me. Then I get lectured on its quality not quantity! I do not write words on a paper pretending I am a Poet. Even now, that word means something special. I am trying to find my poetic voice still.))) thank you, ML Panagiota xx

Bob, you know I cannot go out of the house, or die from Covid! MD orders. So I have time to write Poetry. I never Post non poetry but There is far too much here. You can't stop egos from posting nonsense. All poetry and comments typed with one finger on an iPad. Now that is a miracle ...god did this ..not me Pangie zz

My dear Silent...I don't consider myself a star in any sense. Feel more like " the one to avoid," like I had the virus or something. I do comment a lot, I write a lot. I have been online since I am my time at PS, it's 11:30 am now. Was writing new poems but many will never commented on. Send deodorant my way, you think? Pangie xx..))))? LOL.

Congrats Panagiota on 1400 poems, I can see you don't care about the milestone but it is significant. I would add a suggestion quality over quantity. As a songwriter I've known some who claim to have written thousands but maybe 5 are radio worthy same for poetry. Hope you stick around you seem like a sincere person.

So sorry I did not mean to imply that you write junk, to be honest I've only read a few of yours and they were quality writes. All I meant was that quality in my opinion should also be important, I was definitely not referring to you and your writing, sorry for any misunderstanding. I'm saddened by your having bad experiences here, hope you stay!

I don't write junk, and I have seen plenty here. Just atrocious. Words on a paper does not make one a poet. Being a crowd pleaser! Is not poetry Not every poem is Pulitzer prize worthy, for sure. I don't have a fat head. I learned different forms. But this was my goal, do you understand? To stay here. I have had a number of POTDs also.i am not the best poet here nor a goddess. Oh, terrific Mike! The win on this poem is anyone who gets ML's message. Don't poets know when they are being used by other poets to climb the Comments Board? I do. I have their shoe marks on my neck.)) the faux sincerity wreaks.next time I will delete phony comments. They stand out like sore thumbs!)) you, I know, are the real deal. John, I guess I do not communicate well. Gee.. Forget the milestone. INSIGNIFICANT. ML is the star of this one. Best advice, I was ever given at the soup. Do you have any idea of the number of great writers here who are ignored? I am. My message was to Comnent and stop focusing on the big hitters James Joyce I am not. 1400 was a game I played to not quit. I don't know what's next for me as to PS! Still trying to find my own style. Not interested in jumping through hoops to please the masses here, I can't do that in real life either. You express yourself in comnents uniquely, John. No cookie cutter comments! You have soul.... Jenish! Well said, my friend, Poetry above popularity is a harder road. I now feel like stopping and reassessing where I want to go with this. My poems are a legacy to my family! I shall not participate in contests. If I can't give myself, first place, who can? Nobody knows me as well as I do. Pangiexx I never liked grades or grading children as a teacher.
